Medical disclaimer

Everything on this site is general education about exercise for healthy adults. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it does not replace an assessment by a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified professional who knows your health.

Check with a professional first if you

  • have pain, an injury, or a recent operation;
  • have a heart condition, high blood pressure, glaucoma or recent eye surgery;
  • are pregnant or have recently given birth;
  • have a health condition that affects exercise, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.

Stop and get checked if you feel

Sharp or catching pain, pain that continues after the set, numbness, tingling, dizziness, chest pain or unusual shortness of breath. For chest pain or a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

About the 3D demos

The demos show typical good technique for a healthy adult. The muscle glow is illustrative, not measured muscle activity. Readouts are measured from the animated model, not from you. Your own range of motion, comfort and limits may differ.

Young people

This site is written for adults. Young people should train under qualified supervision.

By using this site you accept that you exercise at your own risk. If you are unsure, ask a professional. How our pages are researched.
